Need Help with RC injectors

Okay, this has been a never ending battle for me. every set of injectors I have tried to put in the car is different. I am not sure what the deal is, but when I put the RC 440 injectors in the fuel rail doesnt go down far enough. I have a feeling they sent the wrong configuration. They are not like the factory ones, they have a fatter base. I checked to see if they were hitting the JR manifold, but they dont seem to be. Anyway, if anyone has had any experience with this, your help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you have not left the thin PLASTIC O-ring spacers in the injector holes of the intake manifold under the rubber injector grommets... this may be the problem. Also, the part number on the body of the injector should be SL4-440... if it isn't, then you may have the wrong ones.

Call me if you need help troubleshooting this.

The part number on the injector is SL9-440, so maybe thats the problem. I think everything is going to work out fine because I am going to machine the body down to fit inside the NOSzle. anyway, thanks for the help.

Just to update everyone, the SL9-440 is the 'new' version of the SL4-440 for the Honda's. And, just to vent... I am very frustrated at this point. I installed the new injectors with the new computer and it wouldnt work. I went through the normal checks and talked to everyone. I have to say that I Am very dissapointed in the tech service at Hondata. They were of absolutley no help. Well it turns out that one of the new injectors isnt working. It checks to 12ohms but when power is applied.... nothing. Anyway, so i guess I will have to just wait. [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img]
